We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our team in providing expert care for pregnancy and postpartum patients.

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist with specialized expertise in pregnancy and postpartum care to join our growing team. This is a part-time, commission-based position, offering the flexibility and opportunity to work in a collaborative, cash-based setting without the complications of insurance billing. In this role, you will work closely with our chiropractic team to provide integrated, patient-centered care to individuals during and after pregnancy, supporting them through their physical recovery and overall wellness journey. You will also be encouraged to contribute to our social media presence by filming educational content highlighting your expertise and promoting our services. We plan to start with 2-3 days/week of availability with flexible shift hours. Patients will be scheduled through JaneApp EHR with online and in-person bookings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pelvic floor physical therapy for pregnant and postpartum individuals, including evaluation, treatment, and education.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with our chiropractic team to ensure holistic, integrated care for patients.
  • Offer hands-on therapy, education, and guidance in exercises that enhance pelvic health and address issues like incontinence, pelvic pain, diastasis recti, and more. Educate patients on self-care techniques, body mechanics, and exercises to promote long-term pelvic health and recovery.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment outcomes through our EHR system (JaneApp).
  • Contribute to an inclusive, supportive, positive, and patient-focused office environment.
  • Assist with filming educational content for our social media channels to engage with our community and share
  • valuable insights into pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and pelvic floor health.
  • Keeping a clean and organized workspace.
  • Some handling of payment as well as scheduling/rescheduling patients as needed.

Requirements

  • Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
  • Additional training in prenatal and postpartum care
  • Direct Access License preferred, but not required
